Overview
The purpose of this bespoke training course is to provide information on a range of treatment, assessment, and monitoring actions that can be used whenever asbestos contaminated land is being remedied. Candidates will also learn about what asbestos is, where you can find it in buildings, the health effects from breathing in the fibres together with how risk from exposure to the fibres can be controlled.

This course is intended for personnel who’s work involves investigations or excavations of land such as:

- Geotechnical engineers
- Environmental engineers
- Site/field surveyors
- Those working to clear contaminated land
Entry Requirements
This course has no entry requirements. Students should have basic literacy skills, although it is not essential.
