Overview
Our asbestos awareness course is tailored to individuals who may be asked about asbestos by the general public, such as project managers, housing managers, estate team members, receptionists, customer service representatives, or anyone else who may need to answer questions about asbestos. Candidates will learn about what asbestos is, where you can find it in buildings, the health effects from breathing in the fibres together with how risk from exposure to the fibres can be controlled. The course teaches candidates how to handle customer queries and common ACM issues
Who should attend
This short training session provides advice for front line personnel who want to know how to deal with asbestos-related queries and be able to respond to them in an informed way.
Entry Requirements
This course has no entry requirements. Students should have basic literacy skills, although it is not essential.

The course is delivered over 3 hours.
