New Supervisor (Asbestos Removal)

Course overview: This training course is intended for trained and experienced asbestos
removal Operatives making the transition to Supervisor. Proof of previous training may be required. Anyone who is completely new to the asbestos removal industry should first attend New Operative training. This course complies with the training requirements for New Supervisors from HSG 247 - The Licensed Contractors' guide.
 
Who should attend: Any previously trained Asbestos Removal Operative who is making the transition to Supervisor.
 
What will you learn: Types, uses and risks of ACMs; health hazards; legislation and guidance; site set-up; stripping techniques; inspections; records; RPE/PPE; transit; decontamination; plant and equipment; waste; emergency procedures; records; risk assessment; plans of work, responsibilities of the supervisor; management systems; information; instruction and training.
