Course overview: This Basic Asbestos Awareness pack - approved by the BOHS, is suitable for anyone involved in any type of building work where they may unintentionally disturb asbestos.
Who should attend: Carpenters, plumbers, electricians, joiners, cable-layers, etc, in fact anyone who is involved in general building, or refurbishment work.
What will you learn: You'll learn about where asbestos might be found in buildings; the dangers of asbestos; a little bit about asbestos legislation; and what to do in the case of accidental damage to asbestos containing materials (ACMs).
Where: This training pack is available to download and complete at home, or work, but basically at your own pace.
